What is the Strong & Sweaty class?

Strong & Sweaty classes are based on a progressive strength training program. Classes are designed for all levels, are small in size and feel more like group personal training. There is always flexibility and modifications available no matter what the programming is for the day.

What is progressive strength training?

Strength is our body's ability to move weight.  That doesn't mean you need to have huge muscles. A strong body can look many different ways, but a strong body FEELS incredible, & that's what we are after.

Conditioning is training that makes your heart beat faster. We use longer, lower intensity training (cardio), as well as interval training (hard, short efforts with long rest periods) to optimize your cardiovascular conditioning, and train all three metabolic pathways (anaerobic, aerobic, and glycolitic).

What is open gym?

Open gym refers to self directed training. We have an entire floor of brand new Hammer Strength machines as well as a floor of free weights available for open gym training. The class workout remains on the whiteboard all day, and coaches are most often available to answer quick questions if needed.
